Title IX is a federal statute that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs that receive federal funding. Sexual harassment and acts of sexual violence are forms of discrimination prohibitied by Title IX. PiM has established policies and procedures on how to investigate and respond to Title IX complaints that apply to everyone. The Title IX Coordinator is the primary point of contact for overseeing compliance with the procedures and making sure that sexual harassment complaints are responded to and consistently investigated.
