Coming Fall 2017!
The Media Arts discipline engages student artists through emerging technology in photography and film. Classic learning skills coupled with new media and techniques support the creation of personal, expressive work. Through hands-on assignments, lectures, readings and technical demonstrations Student Artists will explore moving image, stop-motion animation, sound, photography, digital arts and interactive media. Highly qualified teaching artists who are active in the Twin Cities media arts community will staff the new Media Arts Department. The select class offerings will prepare students for careers and post-secondary options in media arts.
