Right now I'm doing a lot of cool and wild things. I'm a paralegal now working in immigration law, and I'm getting to work with really cool people (especially artists) across the globe and help support them in making their art. I also have been with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx organization aiding in their presentation of on-court promotions during games at Target Center for the past five years (this definitely means I'm tossing t-shirts during games on court -- and I love it.) I also have been doing lots of improv in the past few years which is where I've really thrived -- I've been able to get on the permanent cast of Dinner Detective Minneapolis a murder mystery improv comedy show and have been doing that for the past few years, in addition to theatre and improv across the Twin Cities.
When you think about your time at PiM/MSSPA, what is the one thing that sticks out?
I really was so encouraged to do art from my peers, and that's something special in a supportive environment.
What was one thing you feel MSSPA/PIM prepared you for?
It prepared me for making connections in the real world and the importance of that. Especially as a performer, we we're always connecting with other local performers and venues. Those connections and skills that I learned from these people helped me so much as I continued to discover my art.
What is something that you were surprised to discover MSSPA/PiM prepared you for?
Still having Mr. Leaf's ego card memorized.
Are you doing what you thought you would be doing?
