I am a mom to a beautiful 10 year old boy and am having a daughter in November. I work as a special education paraprofessional at Minnetonka Highschool.
When you think about your time at PiM/MSSPA, what is the one thing that sticks out?
How inclusive and non judgemental the environment was. You were free to be yourself and not be judged.
What was one thing you feel MSSPA/PIM prepared you for?
My job now. How to be a compassionate human and work with kids who are struggling. I struggled in highschool and my teachers were always supportive and always there for me.
Are you doing what you thought you would be doing?
No! Never would have thought that I would be where I am today. I always joke that if you had asked me in highschool if I would ever work in a highschool, I would have died from laughter.
