I am a burlesque performer, teacher and producer in Chicago.
When you think about your time at PiM/MSSPA, what is the one thing that sticks out?
I think about what an impact that school made on so many kids that needed a safe space to be themselves.
What was one thing you feel MSSPA/PIM prepared you for?
Prepared me for the career I have today. Learning so many performance styles that have shaped my artistry.
What is something that you were surprised to discover MSSPA/PiM prepared you for?
Working and being around so many different people and how it shaped how we work with people today.
Are you doing what you thought you would be doing?
I hoped I would still be working in the arts, it may look a little different to others and even to me, but I found my calling and that I have been making a career out of it is pretty amazing!
