Performing Institute of Minnesota Arts High School is a tuition-free public charter school located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, serving students in grades 9 through 12. Authorized by the University of St. Thomas, PiM Arts High School is open to high school student artists from across the Twin Cities metro area. Our students are highly engaged and experience a program of artistic excellence and academic rigor.
PiM Arts High School students are offered beginning through advanced level classes in Vocal and Instrumental Music, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Visual and Media Arts—opportunities not available in most public high schools. Additionally, all students are required to take classes in Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies to meet State of Minnesota graduation requirements. PiM Arts High School also offers several Advanced Placement classes in its academic areas.
In our smaller class sizes, PiM Arts High School students benefit from close personal attention from fully licensed instructors, guidance/counseling staff, and special education instructors. And with Performing Arts at the core of our curriculum, we present the most extensive production schedule of any four-year arts high school in the Twin Cities.
