This Week’s Schedule
This Wednesday and Thursday are Finals. School gets out at noon on those two days. You do not have school on Friday, January 17th because it is a Marking Day. You will also have Monday, January 20th off because it is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Minnesota Thespian Conference at PiM
Congratulations to all the Thespians in the building! The last two days PiM’s hallways were filled with Musical Theatre and Theatre students of all kinds!
PiM students who received accolades of Superior or Outstanding were:
Jacob Marckel, Asher Maguire, Isaac Balabuszko-Reay, Indie Gerster, Eli Zimmerman and Talia Segal. Also congrats to Hanna Abdi for being the newest State Thespian Officer for the Minnesota Thespian Society.
Course Surveys
Don’t forget to fill out the course survey for each of your classes. Your feedback is meaningful! Form link can be found in your Advisory Google Classroom.
MARMY Applications
MARMY our media production crew that photographs and films all of our productions is taking applications for the second half of the year. Applications are available in the media and visual arts google classrooms. Applications are due tomorrow!
PreACT and ACT
You can now begin signing up for PreACT and ACT if you are a 10th or 11th grade student. Information and registration link about the test can be found in last week’s newsletter and in your Advisory Google Classroom.
PiM Singers Auditions
Last call for PiM Singers auditions! See the PiM Singers Audition folder in your advisory google classroom for materials and sign-up. Each individual audition takes 10 minutes. See Mrs. McKnight for questions.
Student Parking
Are you a student driver? Remember: students should use the purple parking spots! Winter snow can make them hard to see, but they are around the perimeter of the lots. Certain areas should be reserved for visitors or specific reasons – including our new SouthWest Transit pick up space. If you have any questions, please check in with the front office!
Pick Up Your Artwork
Hey there gallery go-ers, have you shown your work in a No Shame or Main Gallery show this year? Has your work since been taken down? You can find it on the reclaim table in the hallway by Raasch’s room (Room 127). Anything not picked up by the end of THIS WEEK will unfortunately have to be thrown away. Take yours home ASAP!!
