Givi Stoner’s word of the day is duende. Which is a Spanish word which literally translates to “dwarf” but actually means a state of deep emotion, expression, and authenticity associated with experiencing art, music or dance. Duende.
ACT Prep at Thursday Flex
Last year, some of the class of ‘26 asked if PiM could offer some guidance for the ACT. Mr. Mortika is offering a thorough ACT prep, including daily practice work through Google Classroom. Tomorrow we look at the mathematics section. What math is included, and how are the problems arranged. Come to room 202 and find out.
Lunch Reminder
All students are expected to remain in the cafeteria for the duration of your lunch period, even if you are not eating, unless you are eating lunch with a teacher in their classroom or have made special arrangements with your case manager, a social worker, the school counselor, or Monty.
