Public Displays of Affection at School (PDA)
In public it is important that you consider the comfort of those around you when showing affection to your partner. While at school, students should avoid full-on making out and kissing, putting your hands under someone’s clothing, touching body parts that are covered by a swimsuit, and prolonged hugging. It is absolutely ok to hold hands while passing from class to class (not during class), giving each other a quick kiss on the cheek, or giving a quick hug. Anything beyond that is inappropriate at school and should be avoided. Let Monty know if you have any questions!
Instrumental Music Concert on Friday
Were you feeling like your life during break was lacking live music performances? Well we’ve got great news for you! : The Winter Instrumental Music concert is this Friday January 10th at 7pm in the White Box Theater. Students from Intro Ensemble, Ensemble Explorations, and Modern Ensemble will be performing a stylistically rich program you can’t miss. Tickets are $5 for students and $12 for the public. We hope to see you there!
Random Recognition
Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize a 2012 PiM graduate – Sam Kenknight. Sam spent the winter break working on a project that recognizes the students who have graduated from PiM Arts High School. Check out his work in the Alumni Commons – AKA the cafeteria. He’ll be back in Minnesota in a few weeks to finish up the project. Thank you Sam!
