NO SHAME
The next NO SHAME is on the Friday evening of the start of Winter Break – December 20th. Applications for the next NO SHAME are due to Mrs. McKnight on December 5th.
Native American Heritage Month
In recognition of the month the Diversity and Inclusion club would like to introduce you to Cynthia Leitich Smith. Cynthia, a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation, is an author of young adult fiction. She has taught a course on “Writing for Young Children” at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. If you would like to learn more about Cynthia and other Native Americans, stop by room 124 and scan the QR code or read the posters.
Winter Art Market!
The sign up for a table at the 5th annual Flying Cloud Winter Art Market is live! We accept all handmade, original creations and prints, as well as vintage and thrift goods. The market is scheduled to run from 3:30-6:30pm on Thursday December 19th right before the Fashion show and during the Portrait Show opening. The cost of a vendor table is $10 and the link to sign up is in your Advisory Google classroom.
Good Ones Magazine
The November issue of Good Ones will be sold during all lunches today! Copies are $3 and can be paid for with cash, card, or Apple Pay. Come support your fellow students and read all about them in the pages of Good Ones Magazine!
