How to Help a Friend- Responding to Disclosures
11th graders – join our friends from the Sexual Violence Center for Flex on Tuesday, October 15th to learn how to help a friend! In this presentation, they will define consent and sexual violence, discuss helpful ways to respond to disclosures of sexual violence, and identify responses that could cause further harm. Hope to see you there! – There will be a session next month for 12th graders.

Hamline Admissions Rep in the Lunchroom Wednesday!
On Wednesday an Admissions Representative from Hamline University will be in the lunchroom from 12:30-1:00 to meet with students. Hamline is a small liberal arts school located in St. Paul. If you do not have lunch at this time and are interested in meeting the admissions person contact Soskin.
BIPOC Gallery Opening
That’s right, this Thursday from 4-6pm is the grand opening for our annual BIPOC Gallery. There will be feature performances from your peers as well as an Ofrenda put up by Hispanic Heritage Club that anyone in the school can take part in. Bring photos or memorabilia of your past loved ones to participate. We are excited to see you there!

Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize a ninth grade Visual and Media Arts major – Audrey Walters! Audrey, you have been working so incredibly hard in math class, and it shows. You have been working well helping others understand which in turn helps you understand even better.
