NO SHAME
The next NO SHAME is Friday, February 2nd. There are only TWO student NO SHAME’s left – so now is the time! Applications are in the choir room and are due to Mrs. McKnight on the last day of finals – January 18th.
Celebration of Black Excellence
It’s time to start planning our annual Celebration of Black Excellence performance that will happen on Friday, February 23rd, during Black History Month. If you identify as Black/African American and are interested in learning more, mark your calendar to sign up for the “Black Student Union” flex option on Tuesday, January 23rd.
After School Dance Classes at PiM
Ballare Teatro Performing Arts Center is excited to come to PiM to teach dance classes starting on January 22nd for an 8 week session! Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40-4:40. Students will have the choice to take as many classes a week that works with their schedule. There will be classes in Tap, Jazz and Musical Theatre Technique. All artwork that has yet to find a home from previous galleries this year is found on tables across from Room 127. Take your pieces home Artists! Or else they’ll be sleeping with the fishes after finals…
Random Recognition
Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize an eleventh grade Visual Arts major – Aila Buckley. Aila’s good attitude, studious and focused mindset makes this school a better place. She is helpful and kind – and participates well in Chemistry. Aila, thanks for making this community awesome!
