Word of the Day
Amy Stoner’s word of the day is knick-knackatory. Which is a collection of small objects or knick knacks. Knick-knackatory.
Anime Club is starting up!
It’s time for the anime club to start! We will be meeting for the first time after school during block 5 on Friday in Mrs. Kanavati’s room, 203. We welcome all who have a passion (or maybe a slight interest) for anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture in general. We will have snacks! See you on Friday!
Gardening Club Announcement
Today is the day! PiM’s first ever gardening club is in session! If you want to chat about plants, see them grow, and explore environmental science, you should come to the Gardening Club’s meetings on Tuesdays during Flex! The first meeting starts today!
PiM is going to New York City
All 11th and 12th grade students are invited to an arts infused SPRING BREAK trip to New York! Go to museums, take in Central Park, meet a Broadway Performer (or two), and see a couple of Broadway shows. There is a very important virtual info meeting that you need to attend tonight at 6:30 pm. Find a poster around the school and scan the code to get the link for the meeting. This is going to be a great time, hope you can come along! See Mr. Thompson for more details.
Winter Wonderland Music Concert
Do you sing, play an instrument, or do both?
Would you like an opportunity to perform on a stage in the community?
The music and dance programs are looking for acts to fill the first act of the dance concert for their performance of The Night Before Christmas at the Sabes JCC in St. Louis Park December 14-17.
Winter and holiday music is the theme for this concert. All acts are student organized and rehearsed. Auditions are November 7th from 2:30-4:00 in the Instrumental Room. Please bring your fully prepared performance to the audition.
You will find a signup sheet on the instrumental room (room 156)
Questions? Please see Ricci or PeKarna for more info. We look forward to seeing your performances!
DnD Club
Hey students, D&D Club is back for another year!
New to D&D? No problem, we’ll teach you. Don’t have a group to play with? No problem, we’ll hook you up with the coolest students in the school. Have to make the bus home? No problem, this year we’re meeting during Flex, too.
Our first official meeting will be Thursday October 6 during Flex in room 201. So sharpen your pencils, dust off your dice, and prepare to save the world…one act of random destruction at time.
If you have any questions, feel free to talk with Mr. Mayers or Sam Soffel.
