Art Market Seller Meeting
All art market sellers! We are holding a mandatory meeting in the cafeteria today after announcements. Attendance is required to participate in the show. If you have not paid for your table, please bring your money to the meeting. See you immediately following the announcements in the cafeteria!
Spring Vocal Music Concert
Come support 50 of PiM’s best singers at the Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center at 7pm tonight for the final vocal music concert of the year. Featuring the Ensemble Explorations instrumental class and 10 PiM Singers alumni, this is sure to be a good one. $5 at the door for students.
PIMFest!
So you are coming to PiMFest, but how do you “PiMFest”? Important reminders- PiMFest runs from 3-6 in the upper parking lot. There will be the Pizza Karma food truck, an ice cream food truck, A cake walk, games and bouncy house entertainment, music, an art market, and all sorts of fun. Bring a sweatshirt, sun screen, cash for the food trucks, money to buy art from your favorite artist, to buy tickets for the dunk tank, obstacle course, bounce house, cake walk, etc! Lawn Chairs are essential to bring for the NO SHAME and for listening to the music. It all kicks off at 3!
Project Pick-up!
If you were in Mr. Mortika’s Geometry class 2nd or 3rd Quarter, and you want your project back – perhaps you want to add compass-and-straight-edge designs or three-dimensional polyhedra models to your portfolio – please come by Room 202 this week and ask for them back.
PiM Spirit Week!
Tomorrow, Wednesday is Dress like Adam Sandler day! Slap on some super oversized basketball shorts and T-shirts, white tube socks and slides, general sloppy normcore! Thursday Flower Power day and Friday is Y2K day!
Stage Combat Intensive
Brawl of America is a three-day workshop on stage combat and stage intimacy. May 27th and 28th (Saturday and Sunday) is a series of 90-minute stage combat classes with instructors from across the country, while May 29th (Monday) is two 3-hour stage intimacy classes with a certified intimacy director. Students can register for single days or the whole three-day experience (with some discounting), and there is a Pay-What-You-Want option for folks who need financial assistance.
The event is open to everyone 15 years old and above, and it is open to students new or experienced to stage combat or stage intimacy. It will be held in the Anne Simley Theatre of Hamline University, and all attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination and booster against COVID (or valid medical exemption).
