PiMFest Friday May 19
PIM Fest is coming! Rivaled only by the Met Gala, This is the must attend event of the year. Do you like Art Markets, Live Music, Bouncing, Dunk Tanking, Running through obstacles, Delicious Food, and other fun and games? Then this event is for you! PiMFest will run from 3:00-6:00 in the PiM Parking lot leading up to the life changing final no shame. Be there! If you would like to sign up to do some live music during PiMFest, look for posters around the building with sign up info.
Overlap Gallery, Art Market, and Vimmies
Need another reason to mark your calendars for Friday May 19th? The Overlap Gallery, Art Market and Vimmies are all happening that day after school. What are the Vimmies? PiM Media and Visual arts’ annual award show. Students in every grade who have shown excellence and leadership in their classes and community will receive awards for their efforts this year. Be there to celebrate your peers. Who knows? You might even be an award recipient!

$8,000 could be yours. That’s $2000 a year for 4 years to help pay for your college or university? Apply for the PiM Legacy Scholarship! Find the poster with the astronaut and scan the QR code to apply for the Legacy Scholarship. Deadline for application is May 16th, 2023.
Amelie
Congrats to the cast, crew, and pit of Amelie on a magical opening weekend! They get to do it all over again this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Did you know the show has a talking goldfish, a dancing & singing gnome, a crocodile nun, and a life-size puppet? I mean, come on, you don’t want to miss it.
Dunwoody Open House May 9th 3-6PM with Food Trucks!
Dunwoody College of Technology is hosting a Food Truck Takeover at the Tuesday, May 9, Open House, from 3-6 p.m. This will be a great way for high school students to experience what a technical college has to offer and get free food! Questions? Ask Soskin!
23-24 Ambassador Applications Due to Monty on Wednesday!
Completed applications are due to Monty by the end of the day on Wednesday if you want to be considered for an Ambassador position next year. Current Ambassadors must also reapply. Extra applications are available in the front office.
Have you served all of your detentions?
If not, you better get them completed by Wednesday, May 17th to be eligible to attend Prom. If you have unserved detentions Monty has emailed you. Check your email!
Random Recognition
Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize dance major Yahmarri Shepherd. Yahmarri has been doing great work in screen printing this quarter. He puts a great amount of effort and consideration into each of his projects and although visual arts is outside of his comfort zone, he has a great attitude! Thanks for being you, Yahmarri!
