Lost and Found
There have been many things turned into the office, especially jewelry. If you’re missing something and it’s not in the Lost and Found by the microwaves, please come to the office before or after school to see if it’s there.
Student Council
Next Wednesday during Advisory, join us for an interest meeting about Student Council – a new organization that seeks to improve the culture at PiM. All majors and grade levels are welcome! Make your voice heard! Power to the people!
MCAD Portfolio Day
Junior and Senior Vis, Media and Hybrid majors – This Sunday is Portfolio Day at MCAD. This is a great opportunity to get feedback on your work and talk to over 30 different art school reps from all over the country to see what YOU want from a college. Portfolio day runs from 1-4pm. You can also register for a tour of MCAD’s campus in the morning (10am). Bring your parents and guardians or come on your own. Julie, Grover and Sunnie will be there for moral support! We will do a PiM alumni/MCAD student meet up over lunch. More info and sign up links are in your major classroom.
The All Night Strut
Hey cats – don’t snap your cap, Opening up next Friday is the PiM musical revue The All Night Strut. This ain’t no cheesy song and dance, but a killer diller set of vocal jazz songs that you will love. Mark your calendar and don’t miss The All Night Strut Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Down in the White Box Lounge.
Soapbox
Soapbox is having auditions today and Friday in the media studio from 2:30-3:30. The film requires roles from all majors, not just traditional actors. Audition for the role of a dancer, a singer, or the role of a comedian and their partner. Join the classroom with the code 7pt6za2 for required information or see The Callboard. Performance Opportunity
PIM Alumni Janell Howard is auditioning dancers, spoken word artists, and actors/actresses for her senior keystone production, “The Next Route.” Auditions will be held at 4pm on October 15th in Minneapolis. Random Recognition
Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize the 22-23 PiM National Honor Society members: Jules Loth, Paige Murray, Leona Ryan, Greta Windschitl, Abbi Wood and Fable Farm! These students will be engaged in volunteer and community service throughout the year. PiM couldn’t ask for a better group of leaders!
