Public Displays of Affection
There is nothing wrong with wanting to show physical affection to your partner. When you’re at school, however, public displays of affection should be limited to holding hands or a quick kiss. Students should not be making out or meeting up in bathrooms to do things beyond this. Let Monty know if you have any questions about appropriate public displays of affection at school.
Juniors Registered for the PSAT
Hey! If you haven’t already done so, you should check your email and look for one from Schau. You will be doing the pretest admin during block 4 this Wednesday. Your fourth block teacher will have a pass for you to come.
Fashion Show
Hello Designers! If you are participating in the fashion show, make sure you have checked in with Fowler and are on the Google classroom page. Starting Wednesday we will have open studio during 5th block in room 130. This is a great chance to work, get feedback, use the sewing machines and materials, and build community with the other fashion designers in the building! We are also looking for models and make up/hair stylists.
Random Recognition
Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize a 9th grade Visual Arts Major – Roman Waltenberg. You may only see Roman’s eyes – but those eyes are the window to his soul – and Roman has soul. You may not see the soul, but you can see its imprint, and you’d be wise to pay attention to the tracks it leaves. The soul of Roman is here to impact, push, pull, sing, feed, and draw you into a more honest, complete and authentic expression of who you are. Get to know this kid ‘cause Roman’s soul means business.
