Alex Stoner’s word of the day is spoonerism. Which is a speech error in which two sounds are switched. An example would be accidentally saying YackBard instead of Backyard. Spoonerism.

Clue Auditions Next Monday and Tuesday
Auditions for the spring play will be next Monday and Tuesday. An informational meeting will be held this Friday after school. Information about Auditions will be posted on a Google Classroom this Thursday. The Google classroom code will be available on The Callboard.
The Backpack Project
Please bring in donations for The Backpack Project! This organization distributes backpacks filled with daily personal care items to homeless youth in the twin cities.
Random Recognition
For Black History Month Random Recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of notable Black artists. Today we recognize … Bryan Stevenson. Bryan Stevenson is the founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) located in Montgomery, AL. Mr. Stevenson founded EJI, a human rights organization, to address issues surrounding elimination of excessive and unfair sentencing, exonerating innocent death row prisoners, confronting abuse of the incarcerated and the metally ill, and aiding children prosecuted as adults.
