Did you know the Stonewall riots were started by trans women? Come celebrate who you are at the PiM Transgender Student Alliance! Meetings are Fridays 5th block and is open to any trans, nonbinary, intersex, or genderqueer stundent and their allies. We hope to see you there!
ACT Test Registration for Juniors
We are still planning on proctoring the ACT + Writing on March 2nd, 2021 at PiM Arts High School pending COVID numbers and MDE recommendation. All juniors interested in taking the ACT + Writing this year can now register until Friday, January 9th. The cost of the test is $60. PiM will be providing transportation via our normal bus routes on that day. Test registration and more information can be found at pimartshs.org under “Current Students – Parents – PiM Forms” or the link is posted in your Advisory Google Classroom!
More information about testing rooms, COVID safety measures, and testing locations will be sent closer to the test date. We will make our final decision about ACT at the end of January, but please register now. All fees will be reimbursed if the test is not proctored.
PreACT for Sophomores
The PreACT was scheduled the same day as the ACT for juniors; however, due to how many students we can safely have in the building at one time, we are cancelling the PreACT test for Sophomores and hope to reschedule it for later in the year. Please remove it from your calendar and look for updates after the new year.

Fundraising for The Link:
NAHS members are collecting donations for The Link. The Link works with youth and young families in Minneapolis to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice. We have made blankets to donate along with gift cards to cover groceries and necessities for families in need. Encourage your friends and family to donate on the PiM website and directing the funds to NAHS. We would like to make our goal of one $50 gift card for each of the 25 blankets made!
Crafts and Conversation:
NAHS members are hosting a bi-monthly craft night! This will be a casual hang to talk and make something. Find the list of supplies, the zoom link and additional info on the Student Activities classroom. Families and friends are welcome to join! Email Ari Stevens with questions.
PiM Saturday Social: Movie Night
This Saturday from 7-9pm we’ll be having a movie night on zoom! If you’d like to attend, please go to the Student Activities google classroom site, look for the assignment “Saturday Social: Zoom Movie Night” and find the sign up link in the description. A poll is available on the Student Activities page to determine what movie we should watch.
December NO SHAME
Our final NO SHAME of 2020 is almost upon us! Friday, December 18th will be here before you know it. All submissions are due on the NO SHAME Google Classroom page by this Friday, December 11th. The classroom code is sxbarbv. The more festive your submission is, the happier we all will be. There are no grade requirements for NO SHAME during distance learning.
