College Fair on March 13th
Sophomores and Juniors! Plan to attend the College Fair at Hopkins High School on March 13th! Turn in your permission slips so you have a chance to meet with college Admissions Reps and get valuable information about their schools!
CABARET
TONIGHT is a large whoopee! The musical CABARET plays in the White Box TONIGHT through Saturday night, Feb. 28-Mar. 3, at 7 pm. You will want to get your tickets right away as there is limited seating for this show. Student tickets are $10.
Free Theatre Masterclass This Saturday
Theatre and Musical Theatre Majors! We are hosting a free masterclass by Jon Ferguson focusing on physical theatre and Simple Clown, the epitome of unbridled theatre play. This workshop is open to you, and we encourage you to bring a friend who might be interested in joining us at PiM! The session runs from 1:00-4:30. Don’t miss this amazing chance to grow as an actor. You must email or talk to Mr. Thompson no later than Thursday to enroll.
Ice Packs
We are running very low on ice packs because students are not returning them. Search your lockers, backpacks, cars, and homes! Then bring back the ice packs!!
NO SHAME
Some great pieces have come in, and the show is already shaping up to be a good one. Have we mentioned it’s the first student NO SHAME show of 2018? Be a part of it, or at least make plans to be there!
Blood Drive
Our second blood drive is Monday, March 5th. If you are 16 years or older, sign up now using the code found on the blood drive posters and table tops, or see an NHSDA member beginning today!! 16-year-olds must have a parent consent form in order to donate. Sign up in person to receive your form.
Almost, Maine Auditions
Polish up that monologue because Almost, Maine auditions are next Tuesday and Wednesday. Applications and the Google Classroom code can be found on the callboard. You don’t have to be a theatre major to perform in the main stage show. Put yourself out there!
GSA
Gender and Sexuality Alliance will be meeting in Room 119 on Friday. We now meet EVERY Friday. Everyone is welcome to attend one or all meetings. We are planning our Non-Binary Panel and would love some extra help planning it. Questions? See Mr. Edman or Mrs. Harge.
