Detentions
Are you planning to go to Prom? If you have any outstanding detentions you’d better serve them ASAP! You must have ALL of your detentions served no later than 3:30 pm on Wednesday, April 26th to attend Prom on the 29th. Arrive to school between 7:00 and 7:15 am to serve detention with Mr. Mortika. Serve at least 30 minutes in the morning and you’ll get credit for a full hour. Otherwise, serve detention Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays in the assigned detention room from 2:30 to 3:30. If you stay after any day with a teacher for academic support, have the teacher email Ms. Montgomery to have that time count towards outstanding detention hours.
Ukulele Club
First meeting of 4th Quarter. Tomorrow. Room 250. We just play tunes. Singers welcome, too.
International Travel
Do you like to travel? Will you be a junior or senior next year? If the answer to both of these questions is “yes,” come to an informational meeting in Ms. Klun’s room before school on Friday.
NO SHAME
That deadline is approaching. It’s Thursday! That’s really soon! Hope you’ve planned to show your piece to an arts and an academic teacher!
Are you interested in helping the people of Syria?
Come to the cafeteria on Friday after school to brainstorm options. All are welcome. See Christian Holguin or Ms. Montgomery with any questions.
