Arts Beat
This weekend the arts insider tip is as follows (shhh- it’s a secret!). Go and see Rhythmic Circus: Red and Green at the Ames Center in Burnsville. Performances are Dec. 16-17. Rhythmic Circus is a local tap/music/performance collective that is amazing. Go and see it.
Senior Capstone
The countdown begins for Bailey Bunnelle’s Senior Capstone “Time Stands Still” starring Clare Foy, Daemeon Stanton, Christopher Persaud-Cox, and Renee Daggett. They perform in just under one month! Join us after Winter break on January 13th at 7 pm in the Lower Level. You won’t regret it!
Capstone Auditions
Come and audition for H’s Senior Capstone “This is Not My Room!” All majors welcomed. All grades welcomed. Seniors not involved in a capstone are highly encouraged to audition! Rehearsal schedule and show info can be found on the call board. Prepare nothing, and have fun! The audition date is Mon., December 19th, during Block 5, and call backs are December 20th during Block 5 in the cafeteria. If you cannot make it to auditions, but would still like to audition, come and talk to H Dorumsgaard, or Erika Tucker for other audition options.
Come to the Mall Tomorrow
Come and hear some MSSPA singers perform some carols tomorrow from 1 to 3 pm at Eden Prairie Center. Do some shopping, listen to your friends sing, get a pretzel. What more could you want? Come and check it out!
Blood Drive
Those of you who have signed up to donate on Monday should receive your pass and tips to prepare for a successful donation in Advisory today. Please see Ms. Ciganko if your advisory teacher doesn’t have those materials for you. If you are on the waiting list you should have also received tips so you can be prepared just in case we need you. Haven’t put your name on the waiting list yet? Talk to an NHSDA member during lunch to sign up. We are also signing up donors for our February drive.
Random Recognition
Random recognition celebrates the achievements and community efforts of you and your peers. Today we recognize Will Rodgers for doing a great job in his classes and for being an awesome person, and Sydney Kipp for being a great friend and for being interested in helping others.
