What are your plans for NO SHAME? Something amazing, I’m sure. Keep practicing! Maybe get some feedback from an arts teacher or a friend, too!
NO SHAME – House Band
And if you’re interested in playing in the NEW HOUSE BAND at any show (not just the first one), meet in the instrumental room after school today. We will discuss the logistics of this and maybe develop the pre- and post-show music.
National Honor Society
Juniors and seniors interested in joining NHS this year, you have ONE month to get your applications submitted. Things to remember: you must have a 3.3 cumulative GPA, you will need documentation of community service hours completed, and two teachers will need to recommend you. Come and see Schauwitzer in the main office for application materials.
Instrumental Music Majors
Listen up, please! All Instrumental Music majors not in an ensemble class this quarter or preparing for a senior jury need to sign up outside Room 229 for a short check-in with Mr. Thomson or Mr. McFarlane by the end of this week. Sign-ups are for Tuesdays and Thursdays next week and you should prepare a 1-2 minute solo to play for the check-in. See Mr. Thomson in Room 229 for details.
Geekz
Geekz club meets tomorrow after school in Room 252. Come with ideas for a panel. We will be hosting our very first Geekz panel after school at the end of the month. Questions? See Mr. Edman.
