Quarter 4 Block 5 Music
There are both new and old instrumental music offerings for Block 5 next quarter. Tuesdays, come jam with Improvestra, our new conducted, improvised orchestra. Wednesday, learn new jazz tunes with Mr. Thomson. Thursday, bring in the spring with Mr. McFarlane and the steel drum band. Friday, play chamber music with Ms. Carlson.
Lost and Found
Come and claim your coffee mugs, water bottles, and various pieces of clothing before noon on Friday. All unclaimed items will be donated.
National Dance Day
Are you intending on participating in National Dance Day Concert? If you would like to submit a piece, please sign up the board and see details on deadlines. Do you want to perform in someone else’s piece? Inquire with those choreographers to see if they are still looking for dancers. Do you belong to a folk, ballroom, jazz, tap or international dance group or know of any that would be interested in participating? See Eliza Peterson, Kaitlyn Graning or Sophie Boisvert ASAP.
PROM
Hey, you hip teens! this year’s prom theme is Masquerade. Don’t wait until the last week to buy your tickets, because they’ll sell quickly. Why, you ask? Because this year…drum roll please…the boat moves!! See Ms. Piner before or after school today or tomorrow to buy a ticket.
