Dance Marathon and Lock-in
Is this FRIDAY!! Don’t want to acquire sponsors for the marathon, but just want to come and dance? Guess what! You CAN!! Admission to just dance or support a marathon participant is $5. Wait! There are still more options! If you want to stay for the lock-in, you must have your parent fill out the permission slip and return it to Ms. Ciganko ASAP. Forms are located outside Ms. Ciganko’s room. You will not be permitted to stay for the lock-in if you do not turn in a parent signed slip upon entry of the dance. Don’t want to stay for the lock-in? Then you have until 11 pm to enjoy dancing. Pre-purchase your tickets from any NHSDA member during each lunch. If you want the marathon entry discount fee, you must turn in your sponsor form at the time of the ticket purchase. P.S. Don’t forget to complete your detentions!
Blood Drive
Way to go, Main Street! We only have 6 more time slots available out of 37! Help us make this a successful drive in saving lives and sign up to fill these remaining 6 spots. Nervous? Sign up with a friend or ask an NHSDA member to support you during your donation time. If you are not eligible, ask a parent to sign up and come in next Tuesday. See Ms. Ciganko for details.
Calculus Breakfast
Tomorrow, 7:00. We’ll look at another batch of multiple-choice problems.
A Reminder About Detentions
If you intend on performing in Artists Assemble, Jazz Night, the Dance Marathon, ArtShare or any 5th block activity you must serve all of your outstanding detentions. Detention is Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30; or by special arrangement in the front office or with a teacher on Mondays and Fridays. See Ms. Montgomery if you are unsure of how many detentions you have remaining.
Jazz Night
Jazz Night is tomorrow night. Pay what you can. 7 pm in the lower level.
Senior Yearbook Photo
Two more days to find that best baby or toddler photo and to turn in that senior portrait. Make it happen, youths!
UNICEF
Students, now is the time to help those in need! Donate money to UNICEF through the jars in your homeroom. Help them provide refugees with life saving medicine, access to fresh water and a safe place to live. The homeroom that collects that most will win root beer floats!
