National College Fair in Minneapolis
Attention all Juniors and undecided Seniors! The National College Fair is Wednesday and Thursday in the Minneapolis Convention Center. There will be close to 200 schools there. For more information, talk to Ms. Soskin.
Instrumental Advanced Ensemble Auditions
If you are interested in switching to Advanced Ensemble later this year, auditions will be held on Friday, October 23rd, after school. That’s this Friday! Sign up outside Room 229. Talk to Mr. Thomson or Ms. Carlson with questions.
NO SHAME
This is the week for you to set up times and places to show your NO SHAME piece to an arts and an academic teacher. You practiced ALL MEA break. Now it’s time to show your stuff! Get it out of the way before finals week. Do it this week! Seriously!
Europe Travel
Wait?! What?! You can go to Europe? How? Determination! Come to a student informational meeting with Tour Director Johan on Wednesday, October 28th, during Homeroom. Then bring your parents back for more information that night at 5:30. The arts emphasis of this trip will be Musical Theatre, but any major can go! We’ll see performances, do workshops, and oh, yeah, be in London and Italy! Questions? See Erickson or Thompson.
Your Quarter 2 Class Schedule
Students, please review your schedule for Quarter 2. Are there changes you want to propose? Your paperwork for course changes, Self-Directed Study, Capstone, or Teacher Assistant must be submitted no later than October 26. See the office for paperwork.
Field Trip Permission Slips
Our first all school field trip is coming up THIS Fri., Oct. 23. This is a regular school day, and all students are expected to attend this field trip. If you have not done so already, please turn in a field trip permission slip as soon as possible so that you are able to attend. You can get a permission slip from your homeroom teacher or the front office.
