Pomona College Visits Main Street!
An admissions representative from Pomona College will visit Main Street at 2:00 on Wednesday, September 23rd, in the cafeteria. Pomona is one of the five Claremont Colleges located in Claremont, California, just outside Los Angeles. For more information on the school, talk to Ms. Soskin. All interested students should sign up outside Ms. Piner’s office.

A week from today, there will be an informational meeting for students who haven’t signed up, but want to. Tell Ms. Klun if you plan to attend!
Glee Club
Put your voices to the test with modern songs including Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Jackson 5 and more by joining the glee club. Audition sheets will be posted outside of the choir room (201). Auditions will be held Monday after school, Tuesday morning, and Wednesday after school. If none of those days work for you, come talk to Nevaeh, and she will help find a day that will work best. Come to express your creativity! We plan to perform at multiple variety shows like No Shame!
Skateboarders!
Please find a home for your board during the day. Check with a teacher, store it in a locker or some place safe. The halls are too crowded to have them travel with you all day. Thanks.

PSAT for Juniors
If you are considering college, do consider taking the PSAT with us on Wednesday, Oct 14. The PSAT gives you the following opportunities: National Merit Scholar awards consideration, standardized assessment practice, and SAT performance prediction. Get information and sign up in the office. Deadline is October 9.
Improv Show
Next Tuesday and Wednesday are auditions for the Improv Show! Sign-up on the Callboard so Mr. Leaf knows you are coming! All majors are welcome, especially those of you with musical talents!
Twelve Angry Jurors
There is an info meeting immediately after school for the 12 Angry Jurors cast and crew. Please be sure to initial next to your name on the call board if you accept your role in the show and report to room 205 at 2:30. The meeting should wrap up by 3:15 at the latest. Ms. Cadwell wants to once again thank everyone who auditioned. This was the best turnout she’s seen for any of the non-musical shows she’s directed, and that is saying a lot about our current student body. Didn’t make it into the show? Audition next week for the studio series improv show! Auditions are fun… admit it!
